What Agora is
Agora is online-shop software. It gives you a catalogue, a public storefront, a cart, a checkout that runs on your own Stripe account, an orders dashboard and order emails. That is the service. It is not a marketplace, not a payment processor, and not a reseller of what you sell.
What it costs
- 30 days free. No card up front.
- Then €2 per month, flat. One plan. There is no free tier, no higher tier, and no usage metering.
- No transaction fee. We take no percentage and no per-order amount from your sales — not now and not at any volume.
- Cancel any time. No contract and no notice period. You can export your products and orders.
Stripe charges its own processing fee on each payment, directly to you under your Stripe agreement. Agora takes no share of that fee and adds nothing to it.
Your money
Payments from your customers go into your own Stripe account. Agora never holds, routes or has access to your funds, which is why there is no payout schedule to wait on and no float for us to sit on.
Tax, VAT and your obligations as a seller
You are the merchant of record. You are solely responsible for the taxes, VAT, duties, invoicing, currency and consumer-law obligations that apply to your sales, in every jurisdiction you sell into. Agora is shop software — it is not a tax service, not a payment processor, and not a seller of your goods.
In practice this means: Agora does not calculate tax, does not collect it, does not remit it and does not file it. It also does not convert currencies — your shop sells in the single currency your Stripe account settles in. If your business needs automated tax determination or multi-currency pricing, Agora is the wrong tool and we would rather tell you now.
What you sell
You are responsible for what you list and what you ship: that it is legal to sell where you sell it, that it is described honestly, and that you honour the consumer rights your customers have. We can suspend a shop that is being used for fraud or for anything unlawful.
Availability
We aim to keep your storefront up and we will tell you plainly when we do not manage it. Agora is provided as-is at a price that does not fund an enterprise SLA; if you need contractual uptime guarantees, this is not the product for you.
